Example:

∴ Capital = 50,000, Assets (cash) = 50,000
∴ 50,000 =50,000

(ii) Purchase goods for Rs. 20,000
Capital = 50,000, Cash = 50,000-20,000 = 30,000 Stock = 2,000
∴ Capital = Cash + Stock
50,000 = 30,000 + 20,000 Question 2.

Liabilities = 50,000 – 20,000
